After a taciturn year and a half long relationship with a lovely but (sigh) boring civilian woman, I decided to consummate an urge I had been having for quite some time to look up (call up) some old acquaintances from the past that I had long buried in hopes of finding that more traditional, conventional, and permanent type of relationship.  In the end I have come to terms with the fact that I needed to satisfy the freak inside myself in order to maintain a true happiness that was quite missing in my time away from this world.
